Need for Power BI
Its a bit of a myth that you will get your data in exactly the form you need it in, this does not happen unfortunately! Data in the real world is messy and rarely available as required for analysis. The reality is that analysts need to spend a significant amount of their time working on data preparation before it is ready to for modeling & creating appealing visuals.
The way we work is also changing dramatically- the world is more connected, collaborative and work is often done remotely, organizations today need tools to help everyone infuse data into decision making- This is where Self service BI comes into play.
Data Storytelling
The way, human brain processes information, it is easier to use images, charts, or graphs to understand and to visualize large amounts of complex data than to go through spreadsheets or reports.
Power BI is one of the prominent tools for data visualization and it enables developers to combine data from multiple sources, mashing & transforming it to produce interactive and user-friendly reports.
